So what is the main difference between a VPS and a dedicated server?
The main difference of a VPS and Dedicated Server is their resources and power. A VPS, doesn’t have the full use of the server’s resources. It is usually limited to one core of the processor and a limited amount of the total server RAM. A dedicated server has the ability to be further customized and scaled by adding more RAM and Disk Space. This is done by adding physical hardware to the server, which you can’t do to a VPS.
Both VPS and Dedicated servers have ROOT or Administrator access, but some options are not available in a VPS as access is limited in some sections.
So which one can you choose?
2. You can consider a VPS if your plan is less heavy lifting. For example if you are planning to host a blog or any other small storage it may be a better option for your workload and budget.
